Daniel Stroud is a graduate of Birmingham City University, awarded with a 2:1 BSc in Computer Games Technology. He has had a strong interest in video games since the age of five, with consoles including Nintendo GBC, Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo DS, Sony PSP, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360 and a preferred platform of PC. His favourite games from over the years include Sonic Adventure 2, Skies of Arcadia, Star Wars Battlefront 2, the Mass Effect trilogy, TES V: Skyrim, Kerbal Space Program, Civilization V, Elite: Dangerous and GTA: V.
Daniel started building an interest in game development in 2008 when he began creating games using Roblox, which uses the Lua scripting language to manipulate and create game elements/features. He has since worked on many game ideas/prototypes with the platform. After taking Computing at 6th-form college Daniel has learnt some of the major programming concepts. In 2013 he started learning C# with his university course. In his second year, he began developing using C++.
